Gang Wars (Beta)
Yesterday we added a brand new feature to the game called Gang Wars. This will allow multiple players to fight a common enemy at the same time, receiving cool new items, exp and money along the way. To start a Gang War, you will need to collect the 5 Mystery Gifts displayed on the Start War section of the Attack Page. Once you have collected all 5 you can start your own Gang War. If you don’t want to wait for the 5 Mystery Gifts, the easiest way to join a Gang War is by clicking on a someone’s facebook post. One other option would be going directly to the Gang Wars tab to see if there are any open Wars you can join (right now there won’t be as many, but as more players start getting involved and we make some tweaks, more might appear).
Once a War has started, you can attack the rival gang with a variety of moves, each doing a different amount of damage. The more damage you inflict, the better rewards you will receive when the rival gang has been defeated (the difference between Good Gear, Better Gear and Best Gear). While you want to do the most individual damage as you can, you will also want to get friends involved, otherwise the war will rage forever!
Please know that this feature is in the Beta stage, so you will see some changes to make it better and more balanced. If you have any questions or feedback, please feel free to leave them in the comments section below.
can you please let me know if we can only receive 3 mystery gifts per day or is that a glitch on my end?
ya, i can see a bug already. Ive been getting gifts all day yesterday and today and yet i only keep getting doubles of everything except the star that i need.
Also, when i goto the gangwars tab like you state above, it still says i need to collect all 5 treasures to participate in gang wars.

Can’t believe all the whining about the gang wars all over the newsfeed. Some people really have their tampons in too tight.
Not bad. Something to do, unique loot to get without fp, always good…but did ya have to take away the caviar just in time?????
There is a glitch with it. My friends and I sent each other these mystery itmes but after a bit we couldnt get any more items. I got 4 out of 5 of the itmes but the items I got from my friends after a bit said that I already collected them which was wrong. Whats with this problem. Also yesterday I discovered that you get the finger from the broken shard glass mission in coney island, but today its gone again. whats up with that?
ya, you guys deff have to fix this. I just received 2 mystery gifts from someone LITERLY 8 mintues ago. First one said sorry, gift expired, act faster next time. ITS A MYSTERY GIFT 8 MINUTES AGO! and he sent me antoher one and this one says I had already accept it. When did i get it, when it said it was expired??
On top of that, since yesterday ive had about 45 people send me them in total, and ive yet to get all 5.
anyway of getting cool items without using FP’s is good by me. I like it.
I love it. Just one suggestion. Add a live chat in there or something like the home tab chat so we can talk to those people while we play. The facebook chat freezes and I hate switching tabs and opening up new windows.

heres a question??? how come the triads regenerate to 150% wen we got them down to 38% well within the time???
Sorry but this is DUMB! you need to be working on getting the expired gifts, and glitches fixed.. this is just like collections but with no reward except low stat equipment..
looks like there might be a limit on mystery gifts received per day or its glitched up

so working hard with other fourm members we statred a thread about the gang wars… In mine and the opinion of others there is a MAJOR PROBLEM with the R.O.I. as a player.
(1) There is no extra reward for being 1st, 2nd or 3rd on the leaderboard for your level group… this will effect game play making players to be lazy rather than to compete in a positive way
(2) The XP is very high and could be reduced by 50-66% for levels under 81
(3) The cash payout for the “Best Gear” is very low for the amount if stamina it rakes to do that much damage, and the Stats for the reward items are also low for the “Best Gear”
(4) The amount of $ won per fight could be reduced by 20-33% for levels under 41 and increased by the same amount for levels over 81
(5) The “Timer” for the legenth of the war is too long.
Overall, even with my other personal objections, I can only rate this 2.5 out of 5 stars. On a positive note, it is great for players over level 100 who have run low on players to attack and gives them something to do.
But for a level 81 to be rewarded a .38 special for “Best Gear” is just not good for player morale.

adding good items that are just a bit below fp items is cool, how about some more defensive items? like explosives esp.
nice, but how come this: completed the vodka mission and did not get the loot yet! same happened with other missions in moscow! this starts getting on my nerves! so please make your mission stuff work before starting some new items!

having the same trouble cant send Triad gifts box with friends comes up and i can select some but it never says that i sent any. and the cheerleader gift doesnt accept either though it charges me for the accept and send, people ive sent them too say they dont get them either but get charged the accept.
It takes like 5000 dmg I believe (didn’t notice this one) to get good gear. Takes 20,000 dmg to get better gear. With the way it’s looking I’m guessing it will take 75,000 or better for best gear. So unless you have 500+ stamina items or have 200 stamina points and some FP’s for recharge best bet is to just do the good gear one.
Why do inactive players waste slots in gang wars? Why can’t they be auto kicked for inactivity? Some idiots hold spots yet don’t fight and make the gang war take three more days.
I can only go to players pages if they are actually active in the gang war and attack the Triad.
I would chain attack ALL the inactive players to vent my wrath.
Some browsers will NOT send mystery gifts.

I am shocked that you could make Mob2 take even LESS skill than Mob1. Alphabetical order is the prerequisite to getting gifts. Timing trumps strategy and forthought. The longer you take to start the game the better off you are. (The missions give better mastery items and the avatar items always improve.)
Mob2 does not keep players coming back with fun gameplay. This games’ addiction is based on keeping up with the Joneses. Why do all that boring gifting for cash to buy equipment. Playdom will just give some of my rivals stuff.
Soon as it took lucky timing to be near the top of the food chain ya lost my intrest.
Free players cannot afford to miss out on really rare mission items & hired guns. BUT! As a free player I can walk away easy.
Put the caviar back into the gifts and get rid of the coins they are worthless. The caviar is needed for the new gang wars, kind of pointless to have the new gang war with out stamina refills…..
That may just be a display glitch – the war I’m in showed ‘em at 81%, then suddenly they were at like 350%, then back to 81%.
hey this is glitchy i do a kamikaze and it says the out come is like i do 427 damage and receive like 375 but then on the attack board it say i do around 200 something damage and recieved over 300 damage

PLEASE ADD PRIZES FOR 1st, 2nd, & 3rd ON THE LEADER BOARD FOR EACH LEVEL GROUP…… ( a few favor points would be nice: like 10, 5, & 3 )
players that are testing have ALREADY PROVEN that it is of more benefit to do more wars & LESS DAMAGE then to try to do more damage in a single war… also to combat this INCREASE THE CASH REWARD of the “best gear” to about ~1M and this will combat the issue of players taking advantage of this beta feature and creating more FUN in player competition for the leaderboard.
In Fact due to the 10 limit of level of high level players ( 81+ ) many high level players are just attacking a few times and leaving the war not to return… makng it unfair for the higher level players who do want to join a war and be of help.

There are some bugs in the feature but unfortunately Playdom has not provided any method for directly reporting bugs. So I’ve given up trying after weeks of attempts.
I think it is pretty good the way things are. I do think they should add an elite level with even better gear though.
I like it as it gives something to do outside of the new “Spam teh Moscow wit all ur energiez” crap. I have also seen the magical Triad at 350% glitch. Other than that it seems to be working well. Can we get a clue of how much damage must be done in order to defeat the Triad? Also, do we not get the new items if the Triad is not defeated by the end of the countdown?
OK,OK,OK, SO now I can’t GIFT FOR 5 FIVE weeks I can’t do the Gang Fights (I HAVE NO FRIENDS LIST) I can’t get a Fare Card Hand You ALWAYS gip me out of 2-3 Cards What Disaster is in store for me next. You GUYS no how to DO EVERYTHING THAT”S CONVENIENT FOR PLAYDOM and PLAYDOM alone!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I NO I’m really getting a full of PLAYDOM YOU FIX NOTHING that your not goner get something out of Shame,Shame, Shame, on you, And the GodFather too!!!!
I like the new feature everybody QUIT complaining cause when there is nothing to do U complain MORE.. Most that I see complaining haven’t played or have only played on one lvl so don’t understand best gear, better gear ect. I personally Think there are a couple of things that can be fixed as some have suggested above
1. Damage ranking should get better Items.. I was #1 in damage ranking in one war I was in and people who had less damage/stam invested got better items.
2. less xp.. I know that playdom is trying to slow the lvling of players and make missions take longer to complete so WHY give almost 50xp per atk in a war.. Many complaints of lvling to fast and people will discontinue use of feature..I am a atk/ fighting player not mission based in the use of 30 stamm I get more xp than half the missons PLEASE LOWER maybe 5-20 xp per hit is better
3. Today the war screen showed other peoples wars. I would not mind viewing however I couldnt atk in the war I was actively participating in because the screens were jumbled and my atk was in the next persons war screen and I could not help.. ( moving to different cities seems to fix the number of wars shown I had to jump until the war I was fighting in was the only one in that City.. kinda weird)
But overall I think the feature is welcome please fix the xp.. My biggest problem to this point .. Thanks MMM

. Finally I can use my stamina… This is a great update for high level players (Im 220), where theres nobody to attack… I also like the amount of exp that you earn for each fight.
OH AND CAN I SAY CAVIAR.. GIVE US WAR AND TAKE AWAY STAM?????? SINCE FIGHTIN IN WAR DOESN’T GO TOWARD STATS IT WOULD BE NICE TO HAVE MORE THAN CANNOLIS AVAILABLE NOW .. TY

Supposely there are 5 people in top 5 category of a gang war. Are all these players get equally best equipments ? or the top damage player will get the TOP best equipment while the next 4 players get best equipment?
Becos this will determine after we got full green & yellow color on best equipment, should we continue fight for top damage player? Or we go find another new gang war instead … ?~?

im a level 161 and for the ”Create your own Vodka Brand” mission cannot affort to change class to HIGH ROLLER….are you people crazy?the cc hyenas are going to eat me alive, lets not count the 200 nrg required….this blowz
Would suggest for all the stamina it takes to earn the rewards from achieving the highest level that the rewards be more proportionate to the achievement. In other word time could be more efficiently spent collecting gigts and selling them to buy much better gear then you are giving away at the expense of many canoli or caviar. Other then that it is pretty cool
PLEASE BRING THE ‘CAVIAR’ GIFT ITEM BACK, AS IT IS APPROPRIATE FOR THE ‘GANG WAR’ STAMINA & HEALTH NEEDS – OR SOMETHING SIMILAR ~ GRACIAS!!!
Rewards are lousy. A hand grenade, a tonfa? To call that “best gear” is not really funny. Sniper rifle and some Pistol, also no good. I can get 30 A 11 D much faster.
Ok, it gives the high levels a chance to fight, but “81+” where is the 100-120 121-140 141-160 161+ ranges? Please realize there are some players who are NOT within your main range and still want something to do from this game.
On the constructive side: Better rewards, more gear levels, a reward for places 1-3 in every category.
Gang Fights is really nice. I also agree with Mac B.. The top board leaders should get an extra prize like FP’s or something like that. it’ll encourage people to keep attacking and not be lazy on it. LOVE IT!!!!!!!!
Here is a helpful idea. for the gang wars make it so that anyone can attack but u only display the top ten people who take the most damage
I cannot sed gifts to people either, what ca i do to ge this fixed. My husband sent me a gift and when I tried to collect it, even though he had just sent it, I was told tha there was nothing there .

I joined gang wars – cool. But then a lower level mobbie tried to join a war I posted for help with, and it said… ‘not so fast, paisan’ WTF?
How come every comment I post is never displayed. At first I thought it might be because I was including a remark about the Mobsters2 Wiki, so then I made a totally separate post providing positive feedback about Gang Wars and still my post was never added. I see others posting links promoting their Guides and Documentation etc. Have I been banned or something without even being told? My comments showed initially as awaiting staff review but then they disappeared. Would appreciate it if someone would let me know what’s up.
A few suggestions:
1. Drop the time limit by 1/2. What you got up there is way to long.
2. Instead of a percentage bar or along with the percent bar put the actual amount of damage and have it subtract after each attack. Its nice to know what your going for because it seems like the percent never goes down.
3. Add extra prizes for 1st, 2nd, 3rd on the leader board per level group. Make people want to fight for it. Even if it is only 1 fp. Getting those for free is nice.
4. INCREASE THE CASH REWARD of the “best gear” to about ~1M and make it much harder to get.
also please limit this feature to 1 war per player at a time… this will also combat the mass amount of freeloaders…
another option is “ultra gear” (reduce the values of good gear, slightly upgrade the values of best gear, and offer “ultra gear” that has a higher cash payout and better loot with a min damage of 96k for levels 81+ )
{like a Victim’s Finger, Spetsnaz Silenced 6P9, Uzi, Gold-Plated Magnum, Bulletproof Vest, Body Armor, maybe even a jailbird, hacker or even a nurse }
so why are some of us not allowed to start a war ? for 4 days now ive recieved nothing but a silly clover from mystery gifts , while 20 clover`s may be handy, i would rather have the last item needed to start a war

how do u get the items to start a gang war
Why is there a leaderboard within the Gang Wars interface? There doesn’t seem to be a benefit to being the Leader other than very short lived bragging rights or to instill a sense of competition between the combatants. Now if our battle finale post listed our accomplishment or we received a bonus item then that would sweeten the deal (for me at least) considering the hours I spend rising to the top of the board….the money and experience helps though.
Do deaths now count in our statistics?
For the last several days we learned that you could die in a Gang War without it affecting your statistics. However, today I died and my official deaths appear to have gone up! If this is true, PLEASE POST THIS CHANGE as people have not been worrying about dieing in a Gang War because we “knew” it didn’t affect or statistics (and helped reduce experience gained).
I’m a level 11, 9 stamina, 9 att. Why can’t i see any gang wars?? is there a level requirement?>???
It would be really nice if you could give a minimum experience to receive anything (ex– 5,000 experience). People join the war, fight once, then leave it up to everyone else to finish it up for them, but they still receive gifts. Ridiculous
I love this adding. It really gives you a chance to continously go all out and take full advantage of everything you mobster can do. Plus it saves from making a lot of enemies which can also be a hassle in the end result. Good deal love it keep it coming. signed a faithfull player of the game
why isn’t anyone joining my gang war? can they not see it? I see other players’ wars without them inviting me. what gives?
In mob wars there a lot of mob people that are just joining to get the items one or two attacks they should get a poor item maybe a lung nuts something like that or maybe you can put something that we can use that would slow down our lv. up if we want to.
I received better gifts attacking once than I did being the damage leader in the best gear. That’s dumb if I do 90,000+ damage I want something better than a lucky rabbits foot, an M4, a metal chain, an neural toxin gas. The gas was good everything else sucked for the time, money, health, and stamina I put in to it. I got better melee, guns, and vehicles with good and better levels it’s no wonder people only attack once the rewards are not worth the effort.
love the wars but cant start my own. i get 30-40 mystery gifts a day and never get the dragon i need to start a war.
Please allow more over Level 100 people to fight in the wars. I’m about tired of this game since once you hit level 120 there are limited missions to do, limited people to attack, limited triad wars to join. It has become exceedingly boring since I can’t do much else than the same missions over and over or just send and collect gifts, i enjoyed having the triad wars for something new, but am unable to find ANY wars that don’t already have 10 high level people signed up. Help us or lose us.
Just started M2, and really enjoy it. However I can’t get into any Gang Wars. I am a level 25 and have tried with full health, stamina,on IE,Firefox every time I try, I get the same message of Not yet pasain. Really want to try one out.

OK, what is wrong with the gang wars? Twice today, I have hit double my normal attack with one hit, and died…(”You died, losing 1,014 experience points.”) The second time was four hours later, I hit double damage, went to hospital to heal, it stated to pay $5,933, $12,272 was taken instead. I need answers and my $$$$. I’m annoyed with all these glitches!

My mob is able to join my Serbian gang war, however, they are not able to attach! I seem to be the only one that is able to do anything in the gang war. What is up with that??? I am going to loss if I am the only one able to participate.
I may be in as many as three gang wars, but my name is not listed in any of them. How do these associations work?
You should remove the max of 10 players lvl 81 and higher…seems there are never any gang wars available.
could u make it so when where looking for a new gang war to join that it will not show you the gang wars that there doesn’t have gang wars any more openings for your level it is just a pain to find one i can join when all it shows is gang wars that i can not join
